The Russell County Middle School Basketball teams defeated Cumberland County in dominant fashion Friday night.
The 6th grade team won 36-3. The 7th grade team won 43-5. The 8th grade team won 48-17.
The middle school Lakers were scheduled to take on Wayne County tonight but those games have been postponed. A makeup date has not yet been determined.
The Lakers will be back at home against Campbellsville on Tuesday.
