A meeting to nominate local candidates to fill the 9th District seat on the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Commission will be held this evening at the Hal Rogers Fire Training Center in Somerset.
This district includes Russell County, along with Pulaski, Wayne, Clinton, McCreary, and several other nearby counties.
Doors open at 5 p.m. CT and the meeting will start at 6:30 CT.
The Commission helps provide oversight of the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources and guides development of the state’s regulations on hunting, fishing, boating and conservation.
