After seeing price decreases over the last couple weeks, local gas prices have climbed again.
Earlier this week, most stations across Russell County lowered prices to below $3 per gallon.
That changed later this week as some stations increased prices to around $3.15.
According to AAA, the average price in Kentucky is $2.97.
That’s quite a bit lower than at this time last year, when the average price at the pump was $3.43.
