Today is the last day to receive a discount on county property taxes.
Those who pay their property taxes today will receive the two-percent discount.
Taxes can be paid at the Russell County Sheriff’s Office in-person, over the phone, or by mail.
After today until December 31, tax bills will be the face amount.
The Russell County Sheriff’s Office will be open until 4:30 today. Anyone with questions about their tax bill can call the office at 270-343-2191.
