Serenity Counseling Services was one of several organizations to receive state funds from the Kentucky Attorney General’s Office this week.

The funds come from the state’s Opioid Abatement Advisory Commission, as $13.9 million in funding was announced yesterday.

Serenity Counseling Services will receive just over $355,000, according to a release from the Attorney General’s office.

Serenity Counseling Services is based in Columbia but serves Russell County and several other neighboring and nearby counties.
