The adult education program at Somerset Community College was recently ranked the top program in the state.
The program, with locations in Russell, Casey, Wayne, Pulaski, and McCreary counties, was ranked first in the state for the past year by Kentucky Adult Education (KYAE), which funds the 26 programs in the state.
The ranking is based on the number of GED’s awarded, number of measurable skills gained, and enrollment.
