A Russell County man was arrested in Adair County over the weekend on charges including assault and abuse of a child.
According to reports, 33-year-old Jonathon W. Loy was arrested by the Adair County Sheriff’s Office Friday evening and charged with criminal abuse third degree, assault fourth degree – child abuse, assault fourth degree – domestic violence, and fleeing or evading police on foot.
Loy was arrested by Deputy Chandler Staten with the Adair County Sheriff’s Office and lodged in the Adair Regional Jail just after 6 p.m. Friday.
