RCHS Bowling gets its season underway; still looking for more bowlers

The Russell County High School Bowling Team got its season underway last night.

The Lakers hosted Campbellsville at Ralphie’s Fun Center in Glasgow, falling short by losing six games and tying 1.

High scores for the boys were Chase White at 179 and Phillip Muthler at 135.

The team will travel to Phillips Lanes on Nov. 10 to take on the Taylor County Cardinals at 4:30 p.m.

Coach Brad Rexroat said the team is still looking for more bowlers, with four more boys and four more girls needed to have a full starting line-up.

Any students from 7th grade to seniors in high school that are interested in joining can contact Rexroat at 270-566-1279 or talk to High School Athletics Director Michael Carpenter.
