The Laker Band took first place at the Barren County Marching Invitational over the weekend.
The Lakers also took the awards in Best Overall Music and Best Overall Effect.
The Laker Band will compete next Saturday in the Class AAA regional at Madison Southern High School.
The Lakers will be the last band to perform that evening, taking the field at about 7:30 p.m. CT.
