The Laker Band took third place in the state at the Class AAA championships over the weekend.
The Lakers finished behind Class AAA winner Murray High School and runner-up Adair County.
In semifinal action earlier in the day on Saturday, the Laker Band finished fourth in Class AAA to clinch a spot in the finals.
Elsewhere in Class AAA, South Laurel and Taylor County finished tied for 4th and Garrard County finished 6th.
