A former employee of the Pulaski County Detention Center was taken into custody and charged with sexual abuse second degree.
According to reports, 26-year-old Jason D. Turner of Somerset was arrested after a joint investigation from the detention center and the Kentucky State Police.
According to reports, Turner was arrested by Kentucky State Police and lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center after officials learned of allegations that Turner engaged in sexual misconduct at the jail, and the allegations centered around misconduct involving an inmate.
Turner was initially placed on an administrative leave from the jail, but after further investigation, he was terminated.
The investigation into the case is ongoing.
