A Louisville teenager is facing multiple charges in relation to the incident at the Adair Youth Development Facility last year when the youth took over the facility.
Malachi Amir Price, age 18, is the first person to be charged with rape and rioting as an adult since the incident last November.
Price was 17 at the time and faces charges of rape and sodomy, 1st degree, both Class B felonies; promoting sexual performance by a minor under 18, a class C felony; riot, 1st degree, a class D felony; assault, 2nd degree, a class C felony; and two counts of assault 4th degree, a class A misdemeanor.
Price was indicted in Adair County earlier this month, and is being held on a $50,000 cash bond.
