According to the Kentucky Department for Public Health, 114 COVID cases were reported in Russell County in the month of September.
Looking at neighboring counties, Cumberland County reported just 16 cases last month, Casey County reported 70, and Clinton County reported 71.
Adair County reported 180 cases, Wayne County reported 217, and Pulaski County reported 320.
In total, the state reported over 25,000 COVID cases last month.
