The Russell County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Russell Springs man over the weekend on assault and gun charges.
According to jail records, 63-year-old Mark Jonczy was arrested Saturday evening and charged with assault fourth degree – domestic violence, wanton endangerment first degree, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, alcohol intoxication in a public place, menacing and resisting arrest.
Jonczy was arrested by Deputy Corey Meyer with the Russell County Sheriff’s Office and lodged in the Russell County Detention Center at about 4 p.m. Saturday.
