First responders were called to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 127 and French Valley Road Monday afternoon.
According to Russell Springs Police, the accident occurred at about 3:30 p.m. Monday afternoon when a 2012 Nissan Altima, operated by 69-year-old Janie Adkins of Russell Springs, was stopped at the intersection and was hit from behind by a 2012 Ford Fiesta operated by 61-year-old Phillip Bernard of Jamestown.
Russell Springs Police were assisted on scene by Russell County EMS.
