Russell County has been approved for approximately $195,000 in County Agricultural Investment Program (CAIP) funds.
Neighboring Adair and Casey counties were also approved for funds.
Adair County received around $206,000 in funds and Casey County received $270,000.
CAIP provides Kentucky agricultural producers with cost-share assistance on practices to allow them to improve and diversify their current farm operations.
