More details about last week’s wreck on Cumberland Parkway

We’re learning more details about a wreck that occurred last week on the Cumberland Parkway.

According to reports, the wreck occurred last Wednesday afternoon when a van reportedly driven by Liz Sexton was hit in the rear.

According to reports, the other vehicle was driven by Zachary Eastham.

The Sexton vehicle contained three other passengers, including two children.

Sexton was reportedly flown from Russell County Hospital to the University of Kentucky Hospital.

Chief Deputy Jerry Melton and Deputy Corey Meyer from the Russell County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene, along with Russell County EMS and nine members of the Russell Springs Volunteer Fire Department.
