LCDHD donates health-related items to school district

The Lake Cumberland District Health Department recently donated numerous items related to infectious diseases and emergencies to the Russell County School District.

The health department has been working with school districts in the 10-county Lake Cumberland district to provided multiple emergency resources, including CPR Manikin sets, Stop the Bleed kits and trainers, First-Aid kits, Trauma and First Responder kits, CPR pocket masks, and AED pads and batteries.

The Kentucky Department for Public Health allocated funds to increase preparedness efforts local school districts. Sam Price led the initiative for the local health department.
