A Jamestown man was taken to the hospital after a collision on Highway 127 Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Jamestown Police Department, the accident occurred at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday when 79-year-old Robert Conner of Jamestown was attempting to turn into the parking lot of South Kentucky RECC and turned into the path of a 1998 Dodge Durango operated by 49-year-old Peter Huddleston of Jamestown.
Conner was transported from the scene by Russell County EMS for treatment of his injuries.
Jamestown Police Officer Heath Tarter is investigating the accident. He was assisted on scene by Officer Lee Smith, along with members of the Russell County Sheriff’s Office, Russell Springs Police Department, and Jamestown Fire Department.
