Columbia woman taken to UofL Hospital following Monday morning wreck

A Columbia woman was taken to the University of Louisville Hospital following a single-vehicle wreck Monday morning.

According to the Adair County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the scene about 14 miles east of Columbia on Dunnville Road Monday morning where 36-year-old Danielle Luttrell was operating a 2006 Toyota Sienna when she hydroplaned and left the roadway, striking a tree.

Luttrell was treated on scene by Adair County EMS and was initially going to be flown out, but the helicopter was called off due to weather concerns. Luttrell was taken by ambulance to TJ Health Columbia and then on to the University of Louisville Hospital.

The Adair County Sheriff’s Office is in charge of the investigation.
