The Catch a Rainbow Fishing Derby at Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery is Saturday.
The popular children’s fishing derby celebrates its 35th edition this year. The derby made its return one year ago after being canceled in both 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As always, the event is free for children up to age 15. Typically, the fishing derby brings between 3,000 and 4,000 people to the fish hatchery.
