Somerset man arrested on meth, other charges

A Somerset man was arrested on a long list of charges Saturday night that included meth possession, according to jail records.

Samuel Rose, age 33, was arrested by Russell Springs Police Officer Mason Miniard on charges of possession of a controlled substance first degree, first offense (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, reckless driving, fleeing or evading police first degree (motor vehicle), fleeing or evading police (on foot), tampering with physical evidence, leaving the scene of an accident, and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance 1st.

Rose was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center just before 10 p.m. Saturday night.
