Russell County Laker Baseball Coach David Rexroat was named 16th District Coach of the Year.
Rexroat was presented the award after the Lakers defeated Clinton County in the 16th District Championship Thursday night.
Rexroat is a multi-year recipient of the award.
His Laker teams have claimed 6 consecutive district titles and have won the district championship 15 times since 2006.
