The Russell County Middle School Lady Laker Softball team finished as the conference runner-up over the weekend.
The Lady Lakers defeated Casey County 5-4 in the first game of the tournament, but fell to Adair County 7-5 in the finals.
The Lady Lakers won the regular season conference championship.
