The Russell County Middle School Laker Baseball team defeated Wayne County last night by a score of 7-1.
Luke Walters led the Laker offense with a pair of hits, driving in two runs.
Brody Terry picked up the win on the mound, giving up just one run on four hits over three innings.
The Lakers are at home tonight, hosting Northern Pulaski with first pitch scheduled for 5 p.m.
