The Russell County Lady Lakers picked up a big road win last night, winning 8-7 over the Garrard County Lady Lions behind a three-run home run by Emma Popplewell.
The Lady Lakers are back on the road today, traveling to Campbellsville High School for a matchup with the Lady Eagles beginning at 5 p.m.
The Lakers will return home for their regular season finale on Friday, a matchup with the Adair County Lady Indians.
