The Russell County Laker Baseball team will host the Warren East Raiders in a first round 4th Region Tournament matchup this evening.
First pitch between the Lakers and the Raiders is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. We will have coverage of the game live on Laker Country 104.9 beginning about 10 minutes prior to first pitch.
The Lakers won the 16th District championship, while the Raiders were the top seed in the 15th District but were upset in the championship game by the Barren County Trojans.
The Lakers and Raiders have faced off twice this season in a doubleheader, with the Raiders taking both matchups back on April 29.
The winner will play in the region semifinals tomorrow night at Western Kentucky University.
