The Russell County Laker Baseball team picked up win #20 on the season by defeating the Barren County Trojans on the road last night.
The Lakers won 8-2 over the Trojans to improve to 20-8 on the season and 10-3 against 4th Region opponents.
Ayden McGowan paced the Lakers offensively with three hits and a pair of runs.
Austin Bartrug pitched a complete game for the Lakers, giving up 2 runs on 6 hits and striking out 5.
The JV team also picked up a win over Barren County by a score of 8-1.
The Lakers wrap up the regular season on Friday, when they go on the road to Boyle County.
