In-person, excused absentee voting continues through Wednesday

In-person, excused absentee voting for the May Primary Election continues this week.

Voting for those with a valid absentee excuse will be available today, tomorrow, and Wednesday.

In-person absentee voting is available in the Russell County Clerk’s Office during normal business hours, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Anyone with a valid excuse to vote absentee can do so during these days from these hours, regardless of precinct.

Those who are eligible to vote absentee include those who are in the armed services, students who temporarily reside outside the county, voters who are in the last trimester of their pregnancy, or voters who are not able to make it to the polls normally due to age, illness, or disability.
