A statewide tornado drill begins at 9:07 a.m. central time this morning, according to the National Weather Service in Louisville.
Officials say the Emergency Alert System and Wireless Emergency Alert System will not be activated during the drill, but NOAA Weather Radios will be activated during the test.
Officials say the drill is a great time to test emergency preparedness at schools, businesses, and at home.
