Russell County back in ‘green’; Cumberland, Clinton still ‘yellow’ with COVID

After spending a week in the yellow, or medium, level of COVID spread last week, Russell County is back in the green this week, according to the Kentucky Department of Public Health.

Their latest COVID-19 map also has every other county in the 10-county Lake Cumberland District in the green this week, except for two, neighboring Clinton and Cumberland counties.

Both of those counties are in the yellow this week.

A total of 30 counties in the state have the yellow, or medium, status this week but there are no red counties in the state this week. Red indicated a high level of community spread of the COVID-19 virus.
