The online portal to request an absentee ballot for the upcoming May primary election will be opening soon.
The online portal will open in just over a week on Saturday, April 1.
The portal opens 45 days prior to an election with this year’s primary election scheduled for Tuesday, May 16.
There are several situations that can qualify a registered voter for an absentee ballot, such as being a student who temporarily resides outside the county or someone who is not able to make it to a polling place due to age, disability, illness, etc.
