The Russell County Board of Education will hold its regular monthly meeting this evening.
Election board members Daryl Robertson and Lance Hill are expected to address the board about the difference between the magisterial districts and education districts.
As of now, the districts do not align. The board of education would ultimately have to approve any such change to the education districts.
Other items on the agenda include an HVAC project at Salem Elementary and amending of the current school year calendar as well as next year’s.
