Gunnar Coe, a 5th grade student at Salem Elementary, was one of a dozen winners of the 2023 Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service Piggy Bank Contest.
The contest is a creative way for youth to learn the importance of saving money and reducing debt.
Coe represented Russell County 4-H in the contest. His 4-H piggy bank is currently on display in Frankfort for America Saves Week.
