Kentucky’s seasonally adjusted preliminary 2022 unemployment rate for December 2022 was 4 percent, according to the Kentucky Center for Statistics, an agency within the Kentucky Education and Labor Cabinet.
The preliminary December 2022 jobless rate was unchanged from November 2022 but was down 0.6 percentage points from the 4.6 percent recorded for the state one year ago.
The U.S. seasonally adjusted jobless rate for December 2022 was 3.5 percent, which was down 0.1 percentage points from November 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.
