A total of 18 Russell County Band students were selected for Western Kentucky University’s Honor Band this past weekend.

This was the 42nd Annual WKU Honors Band Clinic on the campus of Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green. It was also a true “Honors” band with over 90 percent of student participants having multi-year All-District and All-State experience.
In addition, more than 850 students were nominated for a chance to participate in the Honors Band clinic.
