The Russell County Community Blood Drive will take place tomorrow.
The blood drive will take place at the South Kentucky RECC Community Room from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
All donors will receive a free t-shirt as supplies last and be entered to win a $100 gift card.
The Kentucky Blood Center is currently operating at suboptimal supply levels and is in desperate need of donors.
An ideal blood supply is enough to last a hospital system three to four days, according to the blood center, and current levels are closer to one day or half a day’s supply.
