Following a top two finish in last weekend’s KMEA Class 3A West Regionals, the Russell County High School Mighty Laker Band will compete tomorrow in the Class 3A State Semifinals.
The Laker band, under the direction of Curtis Ervin and Haley Harrington, will compete Saturday at Boyle County High School at 1 p.m. eastern/noon central with a shot at advancing to the state finals that night at Eastern Kentucky University.
The band will need to finish in the top six at Boyle County to move on to Saturday night’s Class 3A state championship at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond.
