A Dunnville teenager was killed in a one-vehicle accident in Taylor County during the early morning hours on Saturday, according to authorities.
Dalton Weddle, age 18, was driving a 2018 Chevrolet truck on private property off Hwy 76 when he traveled over an embankment before overturning in a pond.
Weddle and three male passengers were transported to Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville where Weddle was later pronounced dead by the Taylor County Coroner’s Office. The other three passengers were treated at the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Weddle was the son of Casey County Sheriff Chad Weddle.
Taylor County Deputy Brent Burkhead investigated the crash. He was assisted on scene by Taylor County Sheriff Allen Newton and Deputy Stephen Dobson.
