The deadline to receive a two percent discount on county property tax bills is approaching.
Bills paid from now until November 1st receive the discount. Those paid between November 2 and December 31 are the face amount.
A five percent penalty will be incurred on bills paid between Jan. 1, 2023 and Jan. 31, 2023.
Bills can be paid in-person, over the phone, or by mail.
This month, the sheriff’s office is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The office is also open from 8-11 a.m. on Saturday.
