State Sen. Max Wise, who represented Russell County in the Kentucky Senate from 2014-2022, has been announced as the running mate for Republican gubernatorial candidate Kelly Craft.
Craft and Wise made the announcement at a special event in Wise’s hometown of Campbellsville Wednesday evening.
Wise was elected to the senate seat in 2014 and represented the 16th District that included Russell County until this year when the legislative redistricting plan moved Russell County to the 15th District.
Wise currently serves as the Kentucky Senate Education Committee Chairman.
