The Russell County Middle School Lady Laker Basketball and Laker Football teams came up with big wins Tuesday night.
The Lady Lakers swept Cumberland County at home.
The 6th grade team won 22-18, with Olivia Stephens scoring 11 points in the win.
The 7th grade team won 34-11 with Addy Abrell scoring 16 points.
The 8th grade team won 41-34 with Abrell scoring 15 points and Carigann Carpenter scoring 10.
The Lady Lakers go on the road to Campbellsville Thursday.
On the football field, the Lakers went on the road to Green County, coming away with a 24-8 win.
The Lakers will be back at home this Thursday against Meece Middle School.
