Lindsey Wilson College is celebrating its 91st Homecoming this week, and a couple of the school’s alumni with Russell County connections will be honored.
Casey Hardy McGowan, a 2014 graduate of Lindsey Wilson College and a Jamestown native, now of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, will be honored as this year’s Outstanding Young Alumna.
Betty Jean Moseley, of Bowling Green, formerly of Russell Springs, will receive the Honorary Alumna award.
Moseley served as a professor at Lindsey Wilson, along with her husband, the late Doug Moseley, who also served as a minister in Russell County and a state senator.
The awards ceremony will take place this Saturday.
