The Russell County Laker Cross Country team competed in the McCreary Central Invitational on Thursday.
In the girls 5K race, Russell County’s Anna Andraca finished 12th.
In the boys 5K race, six Laker runners competed.
Clayton Trosper had the top finish, coming in 11th while Bryson Trosper finished 16th.
Jonah Skaggs finished 19th and Mason Buras finished 21st.
Nathan Bartrug finished 28th and Carson Buras finished 33rd.
As a team, the Lakers finished third behind McCreary Central and Whitley County, while finishing better than Scott High School in Tennessee.
