The Russell County High School Mighty Laker Band will be in action for the first time this season on Saturday, September 17th, at the Taylor County Marching Invitational.
Russell County will take the field at 2:15 p.m. eastern time/1:15 p.m. central time.
Other opportunities to see the Lakers in action are September 24th at Adair County in the Mark Twain Invitational, October 1st at the South Laurel Cardinal Classic, October 15th at the Bands of America Super Regional in St. Louis, Missouri, October 22nd in the KMEA Class AAA Regionals at Warren East High School and on October 29th at the KMEA Semifinals in Boyle County. The KMEA Finals will be that same night at Eastern Kentucky University.
The band is under the direction of Curtis Ervin and Haley Harrington.
