After last night, the Russell County Lady Laker Volleyball team has now won 12 matches in a row.
The Lady Lakers hosted the Lady Rockets of Rockcastle County, finishing with a 2-0 win.
The Lady Lakers won the first set 25-16 followed by a 25-21 victory in the second set.
The win last night improves the Lady Lakers to 16-1 on the season.
The freshman and JV squads each earned 2-0 victories as well.
Before the varsity match, the 2002 team was recognized in a 20th anniversary celebration as the first volleyball team at RCHS.
