Lady Laker Soccer picks up district win over Clinton County

The Russell County Lady Laker Soccer team completed a regular season sweep of district rival Clinton County with a 7-0 win over the Lady Bulldogs Tuesday night.

Adriana Thomas scored three goals, and Abigail Money and Madison Weisbrodt each scored a pair of goals in the win.

The Lady Lakers improved to 4-7 on the season with the win while remaining unbeaten in district play.

The JV team also picked up a win, coming out on top 7-1. Addison Coffey scored five goals and Madison Bennett scored two.
