Some gas stations in Russell County are now selling for under $3 per gallon.
As of Wednesday evening, a couple stations in Russell Springs were selling at $2.99 while several others were still above the $3 mark at $3.09.
This marks the first time since January that gas prices in Russell County have been under $3 per gallon.
The average price in Russell County, according to AAA, is $3.08 in Russell County and $3.26 across the state.
