The Russell County Laker and Lady Laker soccer teams will be in district play tonight as they take on Monroe County.
The Lady Lakers will play at 5:30 p.m. with the boys to follow at around 7 p.m.
The Lady Lakers will be seeking their first win of the season against the Lady Falcons after dropping a match against Whitley County last Thursday by a score of 7-3.
Marissa Hatchett, Maddison Weisbrodt, and Adriana Thomas each scored a goal for the Lady Lakers in that match.
On the boys side, the Lakers enter tonight’s match with a record of 0-1 following a 4-3 defeat at the hands of Casey County last week.
