Lady Laker Volleyball continues strong start with win over Campbellsville

The Lady Laker Volleyball team won their third consecutive match to start the season with a 3-0 win over Campbellsville on the road Monday.

The Lady Lakers won the first set 25-12 and the second set 25-11 before capping off the match with a 25-19 win in the third set.

Briley Murray and Kenzie Kelsey each finished with seven kills, while Jaterria Coffey had five and Rachel Webb and Lauren White each finished with four kills.

Kelsey and White each finished with two blocks, and Olivia Pierce had five service aces.

The Lady Lakers are now 3-0 on the season with a district matchup against Metcalfe County set for Thursday at Laker Gym.

The JV team also came away with a victory in two sets, winning the first set 21-3 followed by a 21-9 win in the second set.

The Lady Lakers fell short 2-0 in the freshman game.
